Getting Started

  1. Click "Sign Up" in the top navigation
  2. Enter your email address and create a password
  3. Check your email for a 6-digit verification code
  4. Enter the code on the verification page
  5. Choose your unique username
  6. Complete your profile and start connecting!
Note: You must verify your email before you can post, comment, or interact with content.

  1. Go to your profile page
  2. Click "Edit Profile"
  3. Update your:
    • Profile picture
    • Cover photo/banner
    • Bio and description
    • Location and website
    • Social media links
  4. Click "Save Changes"
Pro Tip: Upload high-quality images for best results (Profile: 400x400px, Banner: 1500x500px)

Account & Security

Try these steps:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Wait 5-10 minutes (emails can be delayed)
  3. Add noreply@whispsocio.com to your contacts
  4. Click "Resend Code" on the verification page
  5. Try a different email address if issues persist

  1. Go to the Login Page
  2. Click "Forgot Password?"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for a reset code
  5. Enter the code and create a new password
Security Tip: Use a strong password with letters, numbers, and symbols. Never share your password with anyone.

To permanently delete your account:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Account Settings
  2. Scroll to the bottom
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision
  5. Your account will be deactivated for 30 days
  6. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted
Warning: This action cannot be undone after 30 days. All your posts, messages, and content will be permanently deleted.

Earn XP (Experience Points) by:

  • Creating posts (+10 XP)
  • Commenting on posts (+5 XP)
  • Receiving likes (+2 XP each)
  • Streaming (+20 XP per hour)
  • Completing daily challenges

Level up to unlock:

  • Special badges and titles
  • Profile customization options
  • Higher upload limits
  • Early access to new features

Features & How-To

  1. Go to your Feed
  2. Find the "What's on your mind?" box at the top
  3. Type your message (up to 5000 characters)
  4. Optionally add:
    • Photos or videos (click image icon)
    • Hashtags (use #hashtag)
    • Mentions (use @username)
    • Links (paste any URL)
  5. Choose privacy level (Public, Friends, Private)
  6. Click "Post"

  1. Click "Go Live" in the navigation
  2. Allow camera and microphone access when prompted
  3. Set your stream title and category
  4. Choose your privacy settings
  5. Click "Start Streaming"
  6. Share your stream link with followers
Requirements: Verified email, Level 2+, good standing account

Using Hashtags:

  • Type # followed by a word (no spaces)
  • Example: #SocialMedia, #WhispSocio, #Technology
  • Hashtags become clickable links
  • Click any hashtag to see all posts using it

Best Practices:

  • Use relevant hashtags (3-5 per post recommended)
  • Mix popular and specific tags
  • Create unique hashtags for campaigns
  • Don't spam with too many hashtags

Buying Items:

  1. Browse the Marketplace
  2. Click on items you're interested in
  3. For virtual items: Purchase with coins
  4. For physical items: Pay with credit card via Stripe
  5. Track orders in your dashboard

Selling Items:

  1. Apply to become a seller (18+ required)
  2. Get verified (ID + business info)
  3. Create product listings
  4. Manage orders and fulfillment
  5. Receive payouts weekly

Privacy & Safety

To report a post, comment, or user:

  1. Click the three dots (⋯) menu on the content
  2. Select "Report"
  3. Choose the reason for reporting
  4. Provide additional details (optional)
  5. Click "Submit Report"

What happens next:

  • Our moderation team reviews within 24-48 hours
  • Action is taken if content violates our terms
  • You'll receive a notification about the outcome
  • Your report is kept confidential

  1. Go to the user's profile
  2. Click the three dots (⋯) menu
  3. Select "Block User"
  4. Confirm your decision

When you block someone:

  • They can't see your posts or profile
  • They can't message you
  • They can't comment on your content
  • You won't see their content in your feed
  • They won't be notified

To unblock: Go to Settings → Blocked Users

Privacy Levels:

  • Public: Anyone can see (appears in feeds, search results)
  • Friends: Only people you follow can see
  • Private: Only you can see

To change default privacy:

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy
  2. Set your default post privacy
  3. You can still override per post

Troubleshooting

Quick fixes:

  1. Clear cache: Press Ctrl+F5 (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)
  2. Check internet: Make sure you're connected
  3. Try another browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge
  4. Disable extensions: Ad blockers can interfere
  5. Clear cookies: Browser Settings → Privacy → Clear Data

Still having issues? Email support@whispsocio.com with:

  • Browser name and version
  • Device type (desktop/mobile)
  • Screenshot of error (if any)
  • What you were trying to do

Check these:

  • File size: Max 10MB per image
  • Format: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP only
  • File name: No special characters
  • Internet: Stable connection required

Solutions:

  1. Compress large images (use tinypng.com or similar)
  2. Convert to JPG if using uncommon formats
  3. Try uploading one at a time
  4. Disable VPN/proxy temporarily

Most common reason:

Email not verified! You must verify your email before interacting with content.
Verify Email Now

Other possible reasons:

  • Account suspended: Check for notification banner
  • Rate limit: Too many actions too quickly (wait 5-10 minutes)
  • Spam detection: Posting duplicate content
  • Browser issue: Clear cache and cookies
